DESCRIPTION WAPOL
ROOF SEALER is formulated from a specially selected waterborne resin. It
provides excellent penetration into weathered concrete/cement or other
porous surfaces. WAPOL
ROOF SEALER can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray to reduce
the porosity of the surface and to provide a suitable surface for the subsequent
application of Wapol or CFA Roof Coat Systems.

PREPARATION
Clean
the roof with a high pressure water cleaner working from the ridge down
to remove all moss, lichens or other contaminants.
Rebed
and repoiot the ridge caps where necessary and replace any cracked or broken
tiles.
Apply
1 liberal coat Wapol Roof Sealer. Wapol Roof Sealer may be applied to a
slightly damp surface.
Allow
the Roof Sealer to dry for a minimum of 2 hours before over coating.
APPLICATION Apply
one coat of Wapol Roof Sealer by brush, roller or airless spray, eosure
all tiles are evenly covered.
COVERAGE Wapol
Roof Sealer will cover approximately ?m² per litre depending on the
type of roof, the porosity of the substrate and tip sizes.
DRYING Drying
times are a guide only. Longer drying times may be required under cooler
or humid conditions.

CLEAN
UP Clean
all equipment promptly with warm water with a little detergent followed
by a fresh water rinse.
NOTE:
Do not apply Wapol Roof Sealer if the temperature is below 10°C OR
if rain is expected within 24 hours.
PRECAUTION/FIRST
AID It
is recommended that normal protective clothing should be worn, including
coveralls, impervious gloves and goggles. Avoid un-necessary skin contact
and inhalation – use a suitable respirator if spray application is employed. SKIN
CONTACT: Wash immediately and very thoroughly with water. EYE
CONTACT: Irrigate immediately and very thoroughly with clean water for
at least 15 minutes. Seek medical aid if irritation occurs and refer to
MSDS for further details.
