DESCRIPTION/USE
Tyre
Rubber and tar Remover is a specially formulated gel designed to assist
with the removal of tyre rubber and tar marks from pavers, concrete, clay
bricks, limestone and stone surfaces. It is used to remove unsightly tyre
rubber and tar stains from driveways, pavers and kerbing. It can also be
used to soften acrylic-based coatings for easier removal.
Always
test the product on a small inconspicuous area first to ensure that the
product is achieving the desired result prior to application over the entire
area. Some sealed or painted surfaces may require re-sealing once the surface
has been treated with Rubber and Tar Remover.

PREPARATION
No
special preparation required.
APPLICATION
Apply
Tyre Rubber and Tar Remove liberally and spread the product on the affected
area to about 1mm thickness. Allow a few minutes for the product to start
dissolving the marks. Swirling a soft paintbrush on and around the affected
area can assist with the dissolution of the tyre or tar mark. When the
tyre mark has been dissolved wipe the gel from the surface with a cloth
or spatula. Re-apply the product onto any stubborn stains. When the mark
has been completely removed rinse the area thoroughly with cleanwater.
When treating painted surfaces it is important that the product be left
on the surface for no longer than 5 minutes. On some coated surfaces it
may remove the coating from the surface.
Note.
Do not splash the product onto areas you do not want it to come into contact
with. If splashes occur they can be removed using water immediately. It
is important to use protective clothing, impervious gloves, and goggles
during the application of this product.

not allow the product to completely dry on the surface.
COVERAGE
Approximately
2-6 square metres per litre on porous surface. Coverage rates are dependent
on surface porosity, texture and application technique.

Clean
up
Clean
up all equipment with warm water and a little detergent followed by a fresh
water rinse immediately after use.
Do
not pour contents or washings, down drains or sinks. Dispose of as per
your local council

PRECAUTIONS/FIRST
AID
IT
is recommended that normal personal protective clothing should be worn,
including coveralls,
Impervious
gloves and goggles. Avoid unnecessry skin contact and inhalation - use
a suitable
respirator
if spray applicationis employed.
Keep
this product away from children. Any contact with skin or eyes should be
treated immediately by rinsing with plenty of water.. If poisoning occurs
contact a doctor or the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 immediately.
If swallowed do not induce vomiting, wash mouth with plenty of water and
drink copious amounts
of
water. Any contact with skin or eyes should be washed with plenty of water
immediately and seek theassistance of a doctor if required.
