DESCRIPTION/USE
Moss
and Mould Eliminator is a very effective remover of moss and mould from
brick pavers, walls, roof tiles and most porous surfaces, prior to treatment
with Clear Paving Sealer, Natural Finish Waterproofing Sealer, Natural
Stone Sealer or other decorative finishes. It does not contain chlorine.
It is a Wet-state Biocide that eliminates microbiological activity and
is suitable for interior and exterior applications.

PREPARATION
Under
heading of application.
APPLICATION
Moss
and Mould Eliminator can be applied by brush, swab or gentle spray.
Apply
Moss and Mould Eliminator undiluted to the entire surface, not just to
visible areas as some spores may still be present. To ensure complete kill
and effectiveness, this treatment should be allowed to remain on the surface
for at least 24 hours.
After
this time all debris should be removed by means of a high-pressure water-jet
(except in the case of asbestos surfaces where only simple hosing is permitted).
The
cleaned surface should then be treated with another application of Moss
and Mould Eliminator 1 part: 2 parts water. This application should be
allowed to dry completely before commencement of any painting/coating to
ensure that any remaining spores on the surface are also killed.
Do
not seal after high pressure cleaning for a few days.
THINNING
Use
undiluted for first application. Dilute 1 part to 2 parts water for second
or subsequent applications.
DRYING
Drying
times will vary according to weather conditions at the time of application.
This treatment should be allowed to remain on the surface for at least
24 hours.
COVERAGE
Moss
and Mould Eliminator can be applied at a rate of 7-10 square metres per
litre.
The
coverage rate is a guide only and will depend upon porosity and application
technique.

Clean
all equipment promptly with warm water and a little detergent followed
by a fresh water rinse.
Do
not pour contents or washings down drains or sinks.

PRECAUTIONS/FIRST
AID
It
is recommended that normal personal protective clothing should be worn,
including coveralls, impervious gloves and goggles. Avoid unnecessary skin
contact and inhalation – use a suitable respirator if spray application
is employed.
If
poisoning occurs contact a doctor. If swallowed immediately rinse mouth
and throat with water and seek medical attention. Should skin contact occur
wash immediately and very thoroughly with water. Seek medical attention
if irritation occurs. If eye contact occurs hold eye open and wash continuously
with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical advice. Refer to
MSDS for more details.
